The curse of makeup artistry is always wanting new products. Where do we put them? We don't know. There are condensation methods, of course, like clear compartmentalized vuesets for condensing lipsticks and magnetic z-palettes for condensing pressed powders. But I now have five z-palettes and have ordered three more. Its true. AND I have an online shopping cart full of items at ulta.com. I'm just waiting for my paycheck to come in to pull the trigger. I also work right by one of those fancy department stores that sells high-end makeup at the entrance. You can't walk through to the escalator without passing Nars. And I want that famous blush shade, Nars Orgasm. How can it not be famous with a name like that, let alone the universally flattering warm pink color (with gold hilights)?
I am revisiting this post about a week after having written the first paragraph. My progress: I did not wait for my paycheck to buy the undereye primer, graftobian color-correctors and nars blush. I pulled the trigger long bevore then and gleefully (yet somewhat guiltily) arrived home each day to new amazon packages (for me!) On the doorstep.
Will it never end?
