I've heard the stories: "They don't work." "They're uncomfortable." "All they do is constrict your organs."
I have a feeling these people haven't worn legitimate Spanx garments or been to a Spanx store to get advice on how to get a properly-fitting garment. I wear Spanx and this isn't true.
Just saying.
I've also heard this: "Spanks? What on Earth kind of services do you provide there?!" (These kind of comments come mostly from the male population.)
My answer: "Spanks is not a dominatrix dungeon." Period.
We are not a store that encourages or even accepts objectification from the male eye. We only just started offering the "Spotlight on Lace" collection which is sultry but not crass. It's for first-timers just delving into the shapewear world who don't want the shapewear look.
Some Spanx taglines: "You can conquer the world with a little support." "Never underestimate a woman who wants her butt to look better in white pants."
Spanx is about girl power, not sex.
It's about comfort and support, not body-hating and squeezing into things that don't fit.
At Spanx, I'm personally going to make sure your garment fits you correctly and you're comfortable in it, be it a body suit, a pair of high-waisted shorts, or a bra-llelujah bra. I am your new best friend and you'd darn well better let me in the fitting room so I can give you the best advice ever!
Make sure you bring your cocktail dress so I can choose the best garment for you!
